A fantastic day at Ueno Zoo today it was a sunny but chilly day. It was pretty busy and great fun.
We wondered round looking at the various animals in the East Section of the Zoo:
It was time to hope on the monorail to the West Section to see some more animals:
There were a few other sights to view within the Zoo also.
Thai Pavilion (Sala Thai)
This was a gift from the Royal Thai Government to mark 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Japan.
Takatora Todos - Tea Ceremony House
This was built around 350 years ago and is used for the reception of shoguns who pay a visit to Toshogu Shrine for worship
Pagoda (meaning tiered building)
Then it was time to head out for an Indian meal annd a few beers to finish the day off!
